Birds they whistle songs, we whisper words
The language of the sky, upon the wind it flies
Words, what do they mean if birds sing us a song
We long and linger on together.
Shades behind a tree, something we can’t see hides inside the dark. The dark.
Love, the sky is clear above. You look outside to see, the night is what you see.
Above the sky is soft my love. You say:” you’re soft yourself”.
We sleep upon a shelf.
But we fear to fall, wait for death to call:” Wake up from this dream”.
This dream.
We’re awake, walking through the garden lover.
We’re awake, naked in the sunlight with the curtains drawn dive inside the ocean. And we fly away, far beyond the moon we stay, and sway around and kiss, until we touch the ground.
Back in my head I’m in the belly, the belly of the world.
And the world is a big fat whale swimming through deep blue seas of space.
And she knows the way. Whales know their way.
And they sing when it is dark. And bring me to a dream so bright, like daylight wide-awake. And bring a song so brave, we’ll sing it to the sky until the birds reply with laughter. And they’ll always fly, see the darkness die when the sun returns, it burns.
We’re awake, walking through the garden lover.
We’re awake, naked in the sunlight with the curtains drawn dive inside the ocean. And we fly away, far beyond the moon we stay, and sway around and kiss, until we touch the ground
Birds they whistle songs, we whisper words
